Macdonald & Company are supporting a leading Real Estate investor to hire an Investment Analyst for their Tokyo team
This role primarily involves supporting their Investment team with various financial analysis and investment management tasks across their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in underwriting efforts for acquisitions and development opportunities, including creating and reviewing investment memorandums, building Excel financial models, and handling investor requests.
Support monthly and quarterly asset-level and investor reporting.
Collect market data and maintain the internal market database.
Coordinate transaction closings between Investments, Fund Management, Asset Management, Finance, and Transaction teams.
Assist with construction, environmental, legal, and tax due diligence.
Support senior management in business development activities, including ad hoc analysis and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Several years of experience, preferably in real estate investment.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Personal Skills:
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
Languages:
Native-level Japanese and business-level English preferred.
