Job Title: Remote Real Estate Analyst (100% Work From Home)
Location: Remote from Latin America
Position Type: Full-time
Salary:$2,000 USD/month
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible with at least 6hrs overlapping 9:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time
Job Overview:
Our client is a specialized real estate brokerage and development management company that supports investors build missing middle housing across the United States, with a focus on California and the Pacific Northwest. They identify unique opportunities for infill housing construction that generate competitive, risk-adjusted returns and contribute to diverse, affordable, and sustainable community growth.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Analyst to support their growing real estate development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and identifying properties for infill construction through platforms such as Zillow, Redfin, LoopNet, and MLS, based on specific client-driven criteria. You will communicate directly with clients or agents, present qualified opportunities, and respond promptly to client requests, including creating initial site plans.
Additionally, you will read and interpret land use code to perform detailed zoning analyses across multiple cities in California, interpreting regulations to determine development feasibility and maintaining a comprehensive database for quick reference. A basic understanding of real estate development is required, experience navigating civil engineering, architecture, and construction requirements is a positive.
Responsibilities:
Conduct targeted property searches on platforms including Zillow, Redfin, LoopNet, MLS, and others based on varying client requirements.
Evaluate potential real estate opportunities and effectively communicate these opportunities to clients and the development team.
Quickly respond to client requests, preparing preliminary site plans and feasibility summaries.
Analyze zoning codes and regulations for various California markets to determine what can and cannot be developed on each identified site.
Build and maintain an organized, easy-to-use database of zoning regulations, property criteria, and market-specific data.
Coordinate closely with the internal real estate development team to streamline processes and identify potential development challenges and solutions.
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in real estate, urban planning, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in real estate, zoning, city planning, or related analytical roles is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm in real estate development and investment.
Proficient research skills, with comfort navigating platforms such as Zillow, Redfin, and government zoning websites.
Ability to interpret zoning laws, municipal codes, and land use documents.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage and update databases efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with basic site planning software is a plus (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
Experience using AI tools to automate and improve your workflow.
