Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Development Project Manager to oversee multiple high-value development projects from start to finish. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end management of development projects, ensuring alignment with company goals from inception through completion.
Oversee project budgets and financial models, proactively addressing variances, optimizing costs, and ensuring profitability while managing contracts and tracking expenses.
Develop and maintain project schedules for all phases, including design, permitting, construction, marketing, and close-out, while identifying risks and opportunities to enhance timelines.
Supervise contractors, consultants, and project teams, ensuring high performance and coordination with external stakeholders like government officials, investors, and community members.
Secure necessary permits, manage financial underwriting, ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements, and support marketing and leasing efforts for seamless project delivery.
Provide regular, high-quality project updates and reports to internal teams and external partners, maintaining consistency with company standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
8–10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
Experience managing luxury multifamily residential projects valued at $100 million or more.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a track record of completing projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Familiarity with project management software, methodologies, and best practices.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
PMP certification (preferred).
