International Airport of Heraklion, Crete S.A. is currently looking for a:
Non-Aero Revenue Development and Property Manager
Main Responsibilities
Oversees all Non-Aeronautical Commercial and Property Development activities at the Airport
Develops and implements strategies to optimize Airport asset value and utilization as well as to maximize their performance and non-aeronautical revenue generation
Develops and executes strategic plans for Non-Aeronautical Commercial Property Development, aligning with the Airport’s business objectives, applicable legal framework/standards and market trends
Manages the lease and concession agreements and relevant third parties (including tenants, concessionaires, airlines, ground handlers, service providers, State, etc.) to ensure alignment with applicable Airport policies, standards and objectives by creating a culture of collaboration and a strong Airport community
Establishes a framework to ensure all Airport users equal treatment and access to utilities under fair and reasonable pricing according to applicable legal framework and Airport policies/procedures
Develops and establishes an Asset Management System by creating and executing relevant databases, methodologies and corporate procedures to maximize efficient use, allocation and exploitation of Airport assets between the Airport Company, its functions and third parties to measure performance, to maximize return, minimize risk and safeguard Airport policies, standards and objectives
Acts as responsible Airport community citizen and energy consumer by ensuring responsible and efficient use of resources (e.g. water, electricity, etc.) and maximization of renewable energy exploitation at the Airport to the applicable legal framework, market standards and corporate objectives via the establishment of an Energy Management System
Conducts market analysis and research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics in the property markets, informing strategic decision-making and investment prioritization
Develops and manages the property management department budget, including revenue forecasts, expense projections, and capital investment plans, to support operational requirements and strategic objectives
Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance and effectiveness of Non-Aeronautical Commercial and Property Development activities, track progress towards goals and report results to executives and Airport stakeholders
Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with property management activities, including market risks, regulatory risks, and operational risks, to safeguard the airport’s financial and reputational interests
Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and supporting professional development and career growth opportunities
Develops career paths and ensures a succession plan is in place
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in aviation/business management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Major coursework in an aviation-related field, business administration and/or finance will be preferred
Work experience related to airport concessions management, airport contracts, commercial and real estate activities will be preferred
