The Ford Agency is actively seeking a Property Assistant to join a national commercial real estate company. This role is responsible for providing support to the leadership and Property Managers, developing relationships with tenants, coordinating events, and assisting with other projects. The successful candidate will have at least a year of professional experience, excellent customer service skills and be highly organized. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the ins and outs of commercial real estate and grow with a team! This role will be onsite 5 days/week.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide administrative support to the team
Organize and maintain files for the property including leases, legal, and other correspondence
Collaborate with the Property Manager to coordinate and plan events
Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants
Serve as the first point of contact for tenants and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner
Assist the Property Manager with monthly reports, annual budget, and other projects
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years of administrative or related experience
Interest in commercial real estate experience required
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Advanced skills in MS Office
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
