***** The Lease Renewal Specialist supports Sandor’s Ownership and Leasing Team by organizing, managing, and negotiating lease amendments with existing tenants across a multi-state commercial real estate portfolio. In working closely with Ownership, Leasing, Legal, Lease Administration, Property Management, and Accounting, the Lease Renewal Specialist will be broadly exposed to nearly all of the Company’s business processes and procedures, providing for significant learning opportunities.
Essential Duties and **
Communicate with Ownership regarding terms of lease amendments
Review and summarize lease documents
Contact existing tenants to negotiate terms of lease amendments
Fiercely advocate for Ownership’s position in lease negotiations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper information flow about amendment negotiations
Work with Legal to memorialize ease amendment terms
Serve as the primary contact for tenants during amendment negotiations
Draft required correspondence and facilitate execution of lease amendments
Complete renewal checklists with pertinent business information
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and *
Associate or Bachelor’s degree
Two years of related experience in commercial real estate
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and confidently
Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, and critical thinking skills
Consistent attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to determine needs and achieve results
Team player
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Experience writing business correspondence and negotiating business terms

Physical ***** While performing duties of the job, the Lease Renewal Specialist is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The Lease Renewal Specialist must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work ***** The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

***** Regular and timely attendance in the Scottsdale, Arizona office by the Lease Renewal Specialist is essential to the Company’s efficient operation and is a necessary condition of employment. Remote work is not an option.
