Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Real Estate Paralegal located in Garden City, NY. The Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for legal document preparation, due diligence, title insurance, leases, and real estate tasks. Must have good people skills. Will handle real estate files on buy and sell side. Must be familiar with coordinating lenders, borrowers, attorneys and title agents in the collecting of fees and coordinating closings.
Must also be familiar with preparing Deeds, ACRIS, transfer documents, CDs, and closing packages. . Work closely with attorney drafting contracts, would also answer phones and manage the office.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and organize legal documents and contracts for real estate transactions.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Answer phones and manage the office.
Qualifications
Legal Document Preparation and Due Diligence skills
Title Insurance expertise
Knowledge of Real Estate Documents
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with real estate transactions is a plus
Paralegal certification or relevant degree
