We are looking for an Asset Management Analyst to join our dynamic team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about financial markets, investment strategies, and data analysis. As an Asset Management Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting portfolio managers, analyzing investment opportunities, and contributing to the optimization of asset allocations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing investment portfolios to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct market research and prepare investment reports, including performance summaries and risk assessments.
Support portfolio managers in preparing investment proposals and presentations.
Assist in the due diligence process for new investment opportunities across multiple asset classes.
Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as risk, compliance, and finance.
Stay up to date with market trends, economic news, and industry developments.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, or Morningstar).
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and develop a career in asset management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or practical experience in investment management, asset management, or financial analysis.
Progress towards CFA certification or interest in obtaining it.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL is a plus.
Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment principles.
Familiarity with portfolio management systems.
