Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate – Investment Management to join our Private Clients team in Dublin. In this role, you will support the Investment Management team in delivering a high-quality service to our clients. You’ll be involved in portfolio support, client servicing, research, and preparation for meetings and investment proposals. Key Responsibilities:
Support the Investment Management team with portfolio administration and client relationship management.
Assist in the management of client portfolios, including trade execution (as appropriate to your competency level).
Prepare materials and documentation for client meetings and investment reviews.
Conduct basic investment analysis and market research.
Contribute to investment proposals, presentations, and new business pitches.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with regulatory and company policies.
Support client issue resolution by liaising with internal teams and escalating where necessary.
Promote fair client treatment and ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in investment management, private wealth, or financial services.
Strong client service orientation with the ability to support and manage client relationships.
Solid understanding of investment markets, asset classes, and portfolio construction principles.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Analytical mindset with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.
Team player with a proactive and professional approach.
Qualifications:
Relevant Level 7 financial qualification or working towards (e.g., QFA, CFA Level I)
Commitment to ongoing CPD and regulatory compliance.
Desirable Competencies:
Ability to research and analyse market sectors and contribute to portfolio recommendations.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks, including MiFID, Data Protection, and Conduct Risk.
Understanding of client suitability, risk profiling, and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements.
Familiarity with CRM, trading systems, and financial platforms.
