Asset Manager – The DiMarco Group

Key Responsibilities

The Asset Manager for the DiMarco Group is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the value of real estate portfolios. While specific responsibilities may vary depending on the asset type and client needs, the general responsibilities of the role include:

Investment Strategy Development: Formulate and implement investment strategies tailored to each asset’s unique characteristics and market conditions.

Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage annual budgets, business plans, and quarterly reports. Regularly review financial performance to ensure alignment with investment objectives.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of rental rates and market trends to identify opportunities for value enhancement and risk mitigation.

Property Management Coordination: Collaborate with property management teams to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations, ensuring properties are managed efficiently and effectively.

Disposition Management: Lead the process of asset disposition, from broker opinion of value (BOV) assessments to the final closing, ensuring transactions align with strategic goals.

Owner Reporting: Provide detailed performance reports to owners, highlighting asset performance, market conditions, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPM) are advantageous.

Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years in asset management, particularly within the specific asset class (e.g., market rate, commercial, etc.).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with real estate software is preferred.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and operational challenges to make informed decisions that enhance asset value.

Communication and Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Salary Description

$90,000 – $200,000 dependent on experience
